The process of shaping raw plastic into the form or shape of the final product is called "insert molding". Every product is different and requires a different type of moulding. Insert moulding designs types as well as overmoulding are the most popular.

Plastic manufacturing involves melting or softening plastics at high temperatures and then molding them using various techniques to create a useful product.

Moulding can be used to create almost any part made from plastic, depending on the design requirements of plastic overmoulding. Molding is used to make plastic chairs and other plastic items.

What is insert molding?

Injection moulding and insert moulding work in the same way. The molten resin is injected into the mould to meet the specific geometric requirements of each part. After the resin cures, it is injected into the mold. The plastic resins are then removed from the insert mold.
